Keenan Joins ODU Alumni Association Board of Directors

Jennifer Keenan joins the Old Dominion University Alumni Association Board of Directors.  Keenan serves as Scholarship & Development Chair as a member of the Executive Committee.

Keenan has over two decades of business and community involvement experience.  A 1988 graduate of Old Dominion University, Jennifer earned a Bachelors of Science Business Administration degree, with a concentration in Corporate Finance.  A member of Pi Beta Phi Women’s Fraternity, Jennifer was Rush Chairperson and inducted into Alpha Omega, Greek Honor Society. 

A senior mortgage consultant, Jennifer Keenan first joined Tidewater Home Funding in August, 2008.  Keenan focuses on developing, implementing and maintaining business and consumer relationships to grow her business.  She is committed to providing improving her community through her business and volunteer activities.

Keenan has an extensive history of community involvement in North Carolina and Virginia.  She lived in Ocean Isle Beach, North Carolina for 13 years, where she established herself as a community leader while serving the South Brunswick Isles Chamber of Commerce (now Brunswick County Chamber of Commerce).  Jennifer served many roles for the Chamber’s Board of Directors, including Community Development Chair, Tourism Development Chair, Operations Chair, and Chairman of the Board.

Upon returning to Hampton Roads in 2007, Keenan established herself as an industry leader.  She has served as a board member of Star of the Sea Catholic Church’s Home & School Board, on the Membership Committee at Cavalier Golf & Yacht Club, and Program Chairperson for the Chesapeake Rotary Club.
